A propos

Atlanta domine de plus en plus la culture hip-hop aux États-Unis. Son habitant le plus récent s'appelle Playboi Carti. Son histoire commence comme de nombreux autres contes de fées de hip-hop modernes : en 2014, après quelques passages très remarqués dans des clubs locaux, il se démarque rapidement de la plateforme SoundCloud. Le single « Broke Boi » le met en avant de la scène musicale nationale et «A$AP Rocky » le prend sous sa protection. Pourtant sa carrière peine à démarrer. L'album annoncé ne paraît toujours pas. Ce jeune homme, âgé de 21 ans, s'est tout simplement laissé du temps et sa mixtape épononyme fait vraiment fureur cette et ce, grâce également au titre «Magnolia » qui devient platine. Ce serait un euphémisme de dire qu'il a laissé une impression durable. Playboi Carti est désormais prêt à prendre la relève, chez nous aussi. Il sera samedi 10 mars pour la première fois en Suisse, au Komplex 457, Zurich !
