The legendary Söhne Mannheims present their new album "Kompass" - live at the Volkshaus in Zurich.
For over 27 years, the Söhne Mannheims have been an exceptional phenomenon in the German music scene. The multicultural collective writes every note with heart and soul - the concerts are musical happenings full of joy and intensity. The long-awaited seventh studio album "Kompass" will be released in summer 2023 - and on 26 October 2023 they will present the new songs together with their big hits like "Und wenn ein Lied", "Das hat die Welt noch nicht gesehn" or "Geh davon aus" at the Volkhaus in Zurich. The SÖHNE MANNHEIMS are no longer in a hurry. They live their own rhythm. They don't run after trends. They have been defining their own sound for over 27 years, going full steam ahead and doing what they do best: damn good music. SÖHNE MANNHEIMS's iconic multi-part vocals are manifest, harmonious, individual and unmistakable. The new SÖHNE MANNHEIMS are now remeasuring the future: instead of autotune, polyphonic soul vocals like in Motown times - a timeless, self-sufficient pop design.
The band is a platform for world-class singers and musicians: DominicSanz, Giuseppe "Gastone" Porrello, Karim Amun, Michael Klimas and rapper Metaphysics. Keyboardist Florian Sitzmann, drummer Ralf Gustke, bassist Edward Maclean and guitarist Michael "Kosho" Koschorreck are in a musical class of their own. The «Söhne Mannheims» stand for diversity and against racism, believe in the good cause and stand up for it.
