PICTURE THIS MDRN LV TOUR PRESENTED BY LIVE NATION Sprichwörtlich aus dem Nichts tauchten im Jahr 2015 erstmals die aus der irischen Kleinstadt Athy stammenden Picture This auf der Bildfläche des Indie- und Alternative-Rock auf. Zunächst als Duo, mittlerweile zum Quartett angewachsen, stellt sich ihr bisheriger Karriereweg als ein einziger Sensationserfolg dar. Bereits ihre allererste Show in einer Halle mit einer Kapazität von 900 Zuschauern war innerhalb von 30 Minuten ausverkauft, ihre erste, ebenfalls ausverkaufte Tournee durch Irland absolvierte die Band bereits, bevor überhaupt eine erste EP erschienen wäre. Jene folgte sodann nach der Tour im August 2016 unter dem Titel „Picture This EP“, die ebenso wie das ein Jahr später erschienene, ebenfalls schlicht „Picture This“ getaufte Debütalbum bis an die Spitze der irischen Longplay-Charts schoss. Derzeit arbeitet die Band am Nachfolger zu ihrem ersten Album, der für das kommende Frühjahr angekündigt wird. Am 11. März 2019 spielen Picture This sodann eine exklusive Show in Zürich.
