We transform Zurich’s most colorful district in summer into a lively “barrio” that could just as well be found in a city in the Caribbean or South America. Visitors experience a celebration of pure joy – full of fiestas, vibrant shows, and a fascinating Mercado Mundial with a street food garden.

Getting there

We recommend traveling by public transport. There are no parking spaces available. The festival site is within walking distance of Zurich main station. The best ZVV ticket is the day pass or, from 7 ZVV zones, the 9 a.m. day pass (valid until 5 a.m.).

The Caliente! Latin Music Festival is wheelchair accessible. As there may be small obstacles such as cable protection etc. on the footpaths in the area, it is recommended that you come to the festival with a companion

The festival takes place from Friday, July 5th to Sunday, July 7th 2026, on the Kasernenareal in Zurich.

Please note that the family Sunday only takes place on the Kasernenwiese.

Yes, admission to the festival is only from the age of 18. All visitors are asked to have their ID ready at the entrance. Children and young people accompanied by a parent or guardian are of course admitted to the festival area. Due to the crowds, we recommend that visitors with children bring ear protection until 9 p.m. at the latest.

"One Way" means that no re-entry is possible after leaving the area.
