Ein weiter Meilenstein von Royel Otis wird das mit Spannung erwartete zweite Album mit dem Titel "hickey", welches am 22. August 2025 veröffentlicht wird (OURNESS / Capitol Records). Dieses zweite Album erscheint nur ein Jahr nach dem schillernden Debütalbum "PRATTS & PAIN" (Februar 2024). Um den Fans einen Vorgeschmack darauf zu geben, was sie neben der Veröffentlichung der ersten Single "Moody" erwartet, spielte Royel Otis Pop-up-Shows an allen Küsten der Staaten. Zum Albumtitel erläutert Royel Otis Folgendes: "...weil Liebe härter beisst als jede andere Emotion in der Welt." Während die Band derzeit auf so ziemlich jedem empfehlenswerten Festival unterwegs ist, darunter dem Governor's Ball in New York City, dem Lollapalooza in Chicago und dem Outside Lands in San Francisco, kündigte Royel Otis kürzlich auch ihre bevorstehende "meet me in the car" Tour an. Royel Otis haben sich nicht nur mit ihrem charmanten Indie-Rock, sondern auch mit einer mitreissenden Live-Show einen Namen gemacht. Während ihrer "meet me in the car" Tour machen Royel Otis am 02. Dezember 2025 Halt in der Halle 622 in Zürich. Dort haben Fans die Gelegenheit, die kreative Live-Show zu geniessen.
