Municipal Waste und Death Angel gehen gemeinsam auf Tour und kommen diesen Sommer nach Zürich! Seit 2001 gelten Municipal Waste als die Fackelträger des Thrash Metal des 21. Jahrhunderts. Das Quintett aus Richmond, hat sich von einem Kult-Favoriten zu einer festen Grösse in der Metal-Szene entwickelt. Die Jungs haben unzählige Shows auf mehreren Kontinenten ausverkauft und dabei mehrere Millionen Streams angehäuft. Das 2017er Album "Slime and Punishment" landete in den Top 3 der Billboard Heatseekers Charts, und die EP "The Last Rager" hat ihren Aufschwung 2019 nur noch beschleunigt. Auf "Electrified Brain" aus dem Jahr 2022 bleiben Municipal Waste so bösartig und vital wie eh und je. Als Co-Headliner kommen Death Angel, die kultige Thrash-Metal-Band aus der Bay Area, die in den frühen 1980er Jahren gegründet wurde und das Publikum mit rasantem Tempo, schneidenden Riffs und kathartischem Gesang zum Ausrasten bringt. Tatsächlich ist es nicht ungewöhnlich, dass die Bandmitglieder auf der Bühne gemeinsam mit den Fans headbangen. Die Gruppe hat den Grossteil ihrer drei Jahrzehnte damit verbracht, an der Seite von Grössen der Heavy Music aufzutreten - von frühen Shows im Vorprogramm der Thrash-Titanen Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer und Exodus bis hin zu neueren Auftritten mit Sepultura, Testament und DevilDriver.
